Gentry Locke's 2009 United Way Drive Surpasses Goal

Together, contributors at Gentry Locke raised a total of $61,619.20 for the United Way and other charitable organizations in the Roanoke Valley, surpassing this year's goal by 12%.
A total of 83 Firm employees pledged to this year's campaign, a 30% increase in participation over 2008 levels.
In addition to the Annual Pledge drive, some Gentry Locke employees participate in a United Way Service Day. For two years, the Child Health Investment Partnership of Roanoke Valley (CHIP) has reaped the benefits of cleaning, painting and elbow grease provided by Gentry Locke personnel.
The 2009 United Way pledge drive was organized and implemented by attorneys Lauren Davis, Christen Church, and Human Resources Administrative Assistant Michelle Bond.
