Two Gentry Locke attorneys were named to the Blue Ridge Business Journal's annual "20 Under 40" list of up-and-coming leaders in the region.
Attorneys Greg Habeeb and Tony Russell, partners of the Firm who both focus on Plaintiff matters at Gentry Locke, were lauded for both their work and their contributions to the community.
The article noted that Habeeb "served as the chairman of the Salem Republican Committee from 2008 to 2010 and was named the top Republican chairman in the district and the state. He has served on the board of directors of the Southwest Virginia Big Brother Big Sisters and is on the YMCA's Model General Assembly Committee for high school students. He also has provided free legal services for the Military Family Support Center."
It was noted that Russell "provided free counsel to Franklin County Humane Society -- also known as the Planned Pethood Clinic -- and has represented plaintiffs in cases involving dog attacks and veterinary malpractice. An avid runner and baseball fan, Russell also helps with Little League baseball and serves as an advocate for the elderly."
