Gentry Locke Adds Corporate Lawyer Michael V. Moro, II to Its Norfolk Office
NORFOLK, Va. (July 17, 2023) – The Virginia law firm Gentry Locke is pleased to announce that Michael V. Moro, II has joined the firm’s Norfolk office as a partner in the General Commercial practice group.

Moro provides strategic counsel to entrepreneurs and businesses, helping them achieve their goals with practical advice tailored to their individual needs. He handles all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including cross-border transactions, assisting his clients with entity formation and preparing governing documents. Moro has served as general counsel to U.S. subsidiaries of foreign companies and leads negotiations of corporate finance transactions as well as commercial contracts and agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Moro was of counsel with a Virginia Beach law firm and previously served as corporate counsel for a publicly traded global financial services company where he played a key role in the company’s growth in South America and Australia. He also worked in Italy as legal counsel at a sports and entertainment technology provider where he coordinated the legal aspects of the company’s geographic expansion. Moro earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and received his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
